For this work, I was interested in painting a classic take-away diner dessert. These are the types of desserts offered in slices. When I ordered these cheesecake slices, the server hacked through the cake and dropped the slices into a styrofoam take-away box. I thought this was such a funny contrast to the high-end bakery where perfect cake presentation is paramount.
